ghly sand the entre surface all the way down to the bare wood.
Apply a coat of stain if there are marked diff erences in shades.
Then apply two to three coats of synthetic oil as necessary, fol-
lowing the same method described for the renewal phase.
Note: make sure that, between one coat and the nest, the product
has dried completely. This normally takes 1 to 2 hours at an am-
bient temperature of about 20 °C).
For all special maintenance, it is advisable to contact specialized
personnel.
ATTENTION: sanding residue, tools and rags used to apply
the product may self-ignite if exposed to the air. Keep the re-
cipients (immerged in water) in tightly closed metallic contai-
ners and dispose of them immediately. Comply with current
applicable regulations.

Maintenance of thermal cover

When the covers shows signs of dirt, clean it as follows:
Remove the cover from the support frame and lay it on a
straight surface.
Dampen the fabric with clean water. For a plastic cover, you
can proceed directly with cleaning.
Evenly spread a diluted solution of neutral soap on the sur-
face.
Let the solution stand for 2-3 minutes, depending on the
degree of dirtiness.
Clean the cover with a soft brush.
To remove all soap residue, rinse with plenty of clean water.
In case of heavy incrustation, repeat the operation.
If necessary, perform the steps above on the back side as well.
Let the cover dry. Then place it on its support until it is per-
fectly dry.

Abnormal operating conditions

Alarms are indicated on the display, with the corresponding error code.
You will continue to see the code if the alarm condition persists.
Signals on display
- possible solution
"FLC" The fl ow switch detects water fl ow when there is none (the
heater is not turned on).
This may happen if the fl ow switch, which is connected in series
to the heater, is blocked by deposits or impurities that keep it from
operating properly. The fl ow switch may also be faulty.
- Contact an authorized Jacuzzi® service centre.
"FLO" The fl ow switch does not detect the water fl ow (the heater
cannot be turned on).
The cartridge fi lter and/or pump may be clogged, or the fl ow switch
may have been installed in the wrong direction with respect to the
normal fl ow of water. If so, the internal contact will not close. This
will keep the heater from turning on.
The alarm may also appear if the fl ow switch is faulty.
- Contact an authorized Jacuzzi® service centre.
"HOH" The measured temperature at the heater is 48 °C (118 °F)
or higher (the heater is turned off ).
DO NOT ENTER THE WATER
This alarm, which is displayed alternating with the time and tempera-
ture, will disappear as soon as the value drops below 44 °C (111 °F).
- If the alarm condition persists, try turning the switch up the line
from the spa off and back on. If the signal stays on, contact an
authorized Jacuzzi® service centre.
"Ho" Excessive water temperature
DO NOT ENTER THE WATER
The water temperature has reached or exceeded 44 °C (111 °F). It is
not possible to activate any function.
- If present, remove cover from spa.
- If the excessive temperature increase is due to sunlight, add
cold water to the spa.
When the temperature has dropped to below 43 °C (109 °F), the
spa should re-activate automatically. If it does not, disconnect
the power supply and contact an authorized Jacuzzi ® service
centre.
"rPF" Defective temperature probe
DO NOT ENTER THE WATER
It is not possible to activate any function.
- Check that the temperature probe is working, or replace it.
"HPF" Activation of safety thermostat.
It is not possible to activate the electric heater.
The electric heater has been deactivated due to overheating. This
may be due to irregular water fl ow.
- Try turning the switch up the line from the spa off and back
on (system reset). If the signal stays on, contact an authorized
Jacuzzi® service centre.
