5. Open the water cock at the water mains.
6. Open the inlet cock (refer to Fig. 20, Pos. 1).
7. To bleed the water tank, give the knurled nut of the
bleed valve (refer to Fig. 21, Pos.1) an approx. 90°
counter-clockwise turn and hold until water flows
out of the drain hose.
 This bleeds the water tank.

If the knurled nut is turned too far, the bleed valve is
heard to engage and closes again.
8. Close the inlet cock.
9. Close the water cock at the water mains.
Leave the hose in position, as it is needed again
for topping up.
4.12 Filling with test oil

Only fill the tank with clean, pure test oil as per
ISO 4113.
1. Remove the test oil tank cover (Pos. 1).
2. Check whether the drain cock (Pos. 3) is closed.
The drain cock must be at right angles to the
drainage direction.
3. Fill the tank with fresh test oil as far as the upper
notch on the dipstick (Pos. 2).
Quantity = 50 liters
4. Fit and secure the test oil tank cover.

4.13 Fitting hoses for the calibrating oil
supply and return

Included in delivery are pressure hoses with an
inside diameter of 8 mm (2x) and pressure hoses
with an inside diameter of 10 mm (2x). A connection
must be fitted for all four pressure hoses.
1. Push the hose clamp (Pos. 2) over the pressure hose
(Pos. 3).
2. Select a hose connection (Pos. 1) with the
appropriate hose nipple diameter, and push into the
pressure hose.
3. Secure the hose connection with the hose clamp.
4. Repeat this procedure for the three other pressure
hoses.
