4.11.2 Filling with cooling water

The following description only applies to the
EPS 708 with cold water unit.
!
Only fill the cold water unit with clean, filtered
water. Make sure the hose is clean before filling.
!
Never put any additives in the cooling circuit as
these would affect the cooling output.
1. Open both valves (Pos. 1 and Pos. 2) at the cold
water unit. To do so, set the valves parallel to the
direction of flow.

2. Remove the sealing plug at the inlet cock
(refer to Fig. 20, Pos. 1) of the cold water unit.

The sealing plug is needed again later.
3. Connect the inlet cock (Pos. 1) via a hose (Pos. 2)
to the water cock of the water mains.

4. On the back of the EPS 708, route the drain hose
(refer to Fig. 21, Pos. 3) into a plastic vessel or the
