To lock the siderail patient control panel, press U U n n l l o o c c k k / / L L o o c c k k (A) once (Figure 14).
N N o o t t e e - - The lock icon (C) illuminates amber when the patient controls are locked.
To unlock the siderail patient control panel, press U U n n l l o o c c k k / / L L o o c c k k (A) a second time.
N N o o t t e e - - The unlock icon (B) illuminates green when the patient controls are unlocked.

• Always plug the power cord into a grounded, hospital grade wall outlet.
• You can lock the patient control panel to prevent the patient from moving the backrest and the Gatch.
• The siderail patient control panel is not backlit when you lock the patient control panel.
