Set a number from 0 to 3 according to the following fi gure and the following rules:
If there is only one monitor in the apartment, the extension code must be 0.
Up to four monitors may be connected in parallel in the apartments with the same user code but with
different extension codes.
The extension code is used to identify the single monitors of the same user. This allows to make intercom
calls addressed to a single extension.
Also consider that:
Extensions 0 and 1 will ring when a call is received, while extensions 2 and 3 will ring immediately after.
The monitor of extension 0 will be switched on when a call from the door panel is received. All the other
monitors in the apartment may be switched on by pressing the button. This will switch the other monitors
off ('video transfer' function).

SWITCH THE SYSTEM ON AND CHECK VOLTAGE
After carefully setting the impedance switches and confi guring all devices, switch the system on and perform
the following checks (system in stand-by mode):
POWER SUPPLY UNIT AV4005/022
Check for direct voltage from 28V to 33.5V on the BUS terminal pair (0, 1).
DOOR PANEL AV4005/150 and AV4005/160
Check for direct voltage from 28V to 33.5V on the BUS terminals.
VIDEO DISTRIBUTOR AV4005/005 (if installed)
Check for direct voltage from 27V to 33.5V on the BUS (IN/OUT) and BUS (DER) terminals.
BRACKET AV1423/011
Check for direct voltage from 27V to 33.5V on the BUS terminals when the monitors are on.
In all cases, the voltage on the terminals when the monitor is on must never exceed 23.5V.
