PROBLEMS
The engine does not start or
there is a malfunction with it
or it stops while working.
The high pressure cleaner is
vibrating a lot and is noisy.
The high pressure cleaner fails
to reach maximum pressure.
Poor detergent suction
No water coming through
the nozzle.

TROUBLESHOOTING

CAUSES
Refer to the engine operating and
maintenance manual.
The water inlet filter (45), (39) or (23)
(depending on the model) is dirty.
Air suction.
Not enough water is being supplied
or priming depth is excessive.
The regulation valve is set for a
pressure lower than the maximum
one (not for FDX2 10/150).
The nozzle holder head (24) or
device (26) is in the low pressure
position (Fig. 7 – Position a) (not for
FDX2 10/150 and FDX Xtreme).
The nozzle is worn.
Not enough water is being supplied
or priming depth is excessive.
The nozzle holder head (24) or
device (26) is not in the low pressure
position (Fig. 7 - Position b) (not for
FDX2 10/150).
The detergent suction adjustment
device (54) is not set correctly
(FDX2 10/150 only).
Detergent suction filter (40) clogged
(not for FDX2 10/150).

The detergent being used is too
viscous.
No water.
Suction depth is excessive
Water nozzle clogged.
REMEDIES
Refer to the engine operating and
maintenance manual after having made
sure there is fuel in the tank.
Follow the instructions given in the
"r M " paragraph.

Make sure the tap is fully open and that the
mains flow rate or priming depth conform
to what is specified in the "S
" paragraph.

Turn the pressure regulating knob (17)
clockwise.

Replace the nozzle as explained in the
"r M " paragraph.
