Vumachrono only: Install the outer chainring on the drive side crankarm with the
b
chain-catch pin on the backside of the crankarm and the chainring bolt holes on the
backside of the carbon disk. Use the included T8 TORX wrench to loosely install the nine
chainring bolts, then, in alternating order, tighten the chainring bolts in half-turn increments
until they are torqued to 0.5
side facing away from the outer chainring. Use a 6 mm hex to loosely install the four inner
chainring bolts. In alternating order, tighten the chainring bolts in half-turn increments until
they are torqued to 9-10 N·m (80-88 in-lb).

Use only water and a mild soap to clean crankset and bottom bracket. Do NOT use a pressure
washer. Do NOT attempt to disassemble the self extracting crank bolt, or remove the bearings from
the bottom bracket cups. Bolt torque specifications should be checked a minimum of 2 times per
year. During this time, inspect all parts for damage, visible cracks, or chips. All components should
be inspected thoroughly after any crash or accident. If any damage, cracks, chips, stress marks,
or discoloration is visible, these products must be replaced immediately and not used any further.
Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
