Apply blue Loctite™ to the threaded chainring bolt surfaces.

VumaQuaD only: Install the outer chainring on the drive side crankarm with the

chain-catch pin on the backside of the crankarm and the chainring bolt holes on the
frontside of the crankarm spider tabs. With the printed surface of the inner chainring facing
the outer chainring, align the large chainring bolt hole (10 mm diameter) with the threaded
hole on the backside of the crank arm, and the three smaller chainring bolt holes (9 mm
diameter) on the backside of the crankarm spider tabs. Use a 6 mm hex to loosely install the
shorter chainring bolts to hold the chainrings in place. Insert the 3.5 mm spacer between the
chainrings at the chainring bolt position on the crankarm. Use a 5 mm hex to loosely install
the longer chainring bolt at the crankarm chainring bolt position. In alternating order, tighten
the chainring bolts in half-turn increments until they are torqued to 9-10 N·m (80-88 in-lb).

Use a 5 mm hex wrench for the chainring bolt on the crankarm and a 6 mm hex wrench for
the other chainring bolts.
