bsa bottom bracket: orient one of the included aluminum spacers with the raised
surface of the spacer facing the drive side bottom bracket cup, and slide it onto the bottom
bracket spindle. Place the wave spring over the bottom bracket spindle and contacting the
aluminum spacer.
italian bottom bracket: slide a hardened steel washer onto the bottom bracket spindle
so that it is pressed against the bearing. Place the wave spring over the bottom bracket
spindle and contacting the hardened steel washer.

Align the drive side crank arm opposite the non-drive side arm. Use a 10 mm hex to thread
the spindle bolt into the spindle loosely, making sure of proper alignment.
Torque to 34 - 41 N•m (300 - 360 in-lb).
