c) Adjusting the friction clutch

The friction clutch under the transparent cover protects the
transmission from overload e.g. when starting on an
especially non-slip surface. It also protects the vehicle from
overturning as a result of the high torque of the brushless
drive when starting.
After removing the cover (1), you can adjust the hex nut.
Turn is clockwise to increase power transmission, turn it anti-
clockwise to reduce power transmission.
After adjusting the settings, reattach the cover to protect the
transmission from dirt.
If the friction clutch is tightened too much, the driving power will be fully transmitted and the friction clutch
is inactive.
If the friction clutch is set too "soft", the friction clutch wears very strongly. In addition, acceleration is poor
or the vehicle does not move at all (slippage of friction clutch).

d) Setting the servo saver

The servo saver consists of two levers which are not rigidly
coupled but can be moved against each other via a spring
on a level with the steering linkage.
When hard shocks are transmitted from the wheels into the
steering links during operation, they are not immediately
transmitted to the steering servo, but are absorbed by the
resilient connection of the two lever arms of the servo saver.
If the servo saver is set too soft, the vehicle is very difficult to
control. If it is set too hard, there is the risk of damage to the
gears of the steering servo.
The servo saver is usually properly adjusted by the
manufacturer.
You can check the function of the servo saver by quickly
moving the front wheels to the left or the right by hand.
