9. Operation

a) Removing the vehicle body
The vehicle body is secured with holding clips which must be pulled out from the retaining pins. The vehicle body can
then be lifted off.

b) Installing the receiver aerial cable

The receiver aerial cable is normally rolled up upon delivery.
Unroll the aerial cable completely and smoothen it carefully.
Then insert the aerial cable into the holder (1) from the
bottom (if necessary, unfasten the holder to insert the cable
more easily).
Run the aerial cable through the aerial tube (2) and stick
the aerial tube into the aerial mount.
A rubber cap might be enclosed for the aerial tube. Place it
on the tip of the aerial tube to prevent the cable from moving
out of position.
c) Inserting the battery pack in the vehicle
Pull off the two safety clips (1) and lift off the attachment rod
(2). At the rear end, the rod is only plugged in below the
shock tower (3).
Insert the battery pack into the chassis with the connection
cables pointing towards the front axle.
Depending on the shape of the battery pack, remove foam
boards from the battery compartment.
Reattach the attachment rod (2) and insert it below the shock
tower (3). Fasten the attachment rod (2) using the previously
removed safety clips (1).
Caution!
The rechargeable battery pack must not yet be
connected to the speed controller/receiver.
