Each unit is tested and delivered by default in closed position ; please precise your specifications
for others adjustments on your order. You can assembly the complete range of actuators on your
equipment and use it without any adjustment .
Valpes products authorize a finest adjustment for example in case of butterfly valves mounting.
Do not connect several actuators on the same electrical terminal without separate the phases .
Switch off the power before opening the cover, releasing the motor or manipulating the manual
override . Verify that there's no obstacle which can block the rotation of the valve . VALPES
actuators are watertight (IP 65), no specific maintenance is required.
The electric actuators must be protected against short circuits and overloads according to
motor specifications by a safety device or an another qualified system , in conformity with
the rules in force. Im accordance to CEI 60127 norm, a fialibrated fuse have to be implemented
(0,063A for 230V AC and 0.165A for 115V AC).
Do not remove the cover: it could turn out that electrical equipments could be dangerous
because of some live components. Find installation have to include a disconnection
systeme. The power supply wire do not be replaced by an unqualified person.
The operation of electrical appliance can appear dangerous because it implies the
powering of certain components.
Any intervention on installation or electric components must be carried out by
specialized electricians or qualified people under the direction and the monitoring
of electricians to follow the rules in force. The equipment have to be protected against any
intrusion without a recommanded tool.
Caution : connect wiring in respect of the electrical standards, auxiliary limit switches are
powered by a very low voltage (<42V *).

If the material does not function, to check wiring according to the electric diagram and the power
supply of the electric actuator concerned. To check the direction of assembly of the actuator on

The delivered goods travel to the risks and dangers of the recipients,even in the event of Franco.
The conveyors being responsible for the damages and the delays of delivery, the recipients owe
emettre of the reserves, if necessary, before taking delivery of the goods. The direct sendings of
factory are subjected to the same conditions. Transport on site is accomplished in a rigid packing.
Storage must be carried out in ventilated and dry places. Protection against the moisture of the
ground is carried out by storage on handling pallets or racks. The protection of surfaces against
dust and dirtinesses is ensured by the conditioning of origin.
Our products are guaranted against defective material and workmanship from the date of
shipment :
- Electric actuators : 2 years or 50000 operations following norms EN 29-408 class 3.
This guarantee is not valid if our products have been damaged due to a lake of lubrication or
maintenance, impacts or inexperience. This guarantee is no more valid if the customer dismantle
or repair the product himself.
The buyer has to verify the goods at their arriving, the acceptation of the goods by the buyer
disclames the responsability of the supplier. Before making a return, please caution the firm
Valpes and wait for its agreement. At the reception of the products we will proceed to an
evaluation, we will send you an offer. If the product is not reparable we will send you a
credit note with a deduction of a minimum of 20% of the initial value.
