The operation of electrical appliance can appear dangerous because it implies the
powering of certain components.
Any intervention on installation or electric components must be carried out by
specialized electricians or qualified people under the direction and the monitoring
of electricians to follow the rules in force.
- It's necessary to remove the cover to connect the strips.
- Pull out the handle or the half ball indicator.
- Free the screws of the cover with a screwdriver, remove it.
- Free the gland and insert the feeding cable into the housing and connect as follows:
Our ISO20 glandless can fit 5,5 to 12mm cables. (option : 1/2 '' NPT threaded)
1. POWER AND REMOTE CONNECTING
- Realize the connection as followed :
Workshop set up
- output C (common) to motor's strip
- output F (off/closed) to motor's strip 3
At this stage of mounting, check that the selector strip marked 1 (see page 4) is in the
correct position (diagram 1) :
4-20mA VERSION
- connect + input 4-20mA in 21
- connect - input 4-20mA in 22
- connect + output 4-20mA in 24
- connect - output 4-20mA in 25
Tighten the gland. Put the cover and tighten the screws of the cover.
2. AUXILIARY LIMIT SWITCHES SETTING (see page 21)
Caution : connect wiring in respect of the electrical standards, auxiliary limit switches
are powered by a very low voltage (<42V *).
3. SETTING OF ERG3 CARD IF THERE IS ANY PROBLEM
We are assuming that the card is connected correctly, the feedback potentiometer is in place,
and the limit switches are correctly set. CAUTION: at this stage of mounting, ensure that the
selector strip is in the correct position. Put actuator into "Man" position, turn it manually to the
"open " position there will be an audible click of the limit switch. turn back to leave the limit switch
disengaged. Put the actuator into " Auto " position. Give and input signal at a maximum of 10V or
20mA.Adjust the "maxi." potentiometer on the card until the red & green LED turns off.Turn the
actuator manually to "closed" position ( hear the click of the limit switch) . Turn back to leave the
limit switch disengaged. Put the actuator into the " Auto " position. Give the actuator an input
signal - minimum (0V or 4mA). Adjust the "maxi." closed potentiometer on the card to switch
off the red & green LED.Verify that the "maxi" potentiometer is correctly set. For "Open" position
set the maxi potentiometer which can be found on the card.
- Tighten the gland. Put the cover and tighten the screws of the cover.
- Put back the handle or the indicator on the shaft.
- output O (open) to motor's strip 2
- 4-20mA low position
- 0-10V high position
0-10V VERSION
- connect + input 0-10V in 20
- connect - input 0-10V in 22
- connect - output 0-10V in 23
- connect + output 0-10V in 24
