3. Safety instructions

■ Read the instructions carefully before
using the mattress.
■ The Ultimate Climate mattress can only be
used in combination with an Auping Royal
mesh base with all components/parts
assembled correctly and for the right
purposes.
■ Check whether the connecting voltage of
the transformer corresponds with the
mains voltage of your home.
■ Make sure that the cables cannot become
trapped. Place the transformer and the
connecting plug in the Royal Transformer
and Plug Box (optional) or somewhere with
sufficient space and ventilation. These
parts release heat and must therefore not
be covered and do not place them near
devices that give off heat.
■ Switch the mattress off before cleaning.
We recommend that you remove the plug
from the socket.
■ The maximum setting for use at night is
setting 5 (maximum 5 indicator lights on
the remote control display switched on).
■ Do not switch on the Ultimate Climate
Mattress when the lead, transformer or
the mattress is damaged. Have the faulty
parts replaced by the manufacturer.

■ Do not switch on the heating or drying
function if the mattress is wet, for instance
after removing stains (see section 8).
■ When the Ultimate Climate mattress is
switched on, do not cover the mattress
with, for example, another mattress or a
load of laundry.
■ Use the mattress only as an upper
mattress.
■ Do not use the topper without the
mattress cover.
■ Do not insert sharp objects such as pins in
the mattress.
■ Mattresses are not suitable for children,
disabled persons or for people that are
insensitive to heat.
■ Do not allow children to use the product as
a toy.
■ Only use prescribed parts. Use type
number 51.96.71 (climate control) only
with type number 51.96.32 (control box).
Only use remote controls with type
numbers 51.96.38 (Basic) and 51.96.39
(Advanced). The type numbers can be
found on the mattress label and the
housing of the remote control.
■ Note that when you use an extension lead
its load is higher or equal to that of the
Ultimate Climate mattress. Use an
approved extension lead.
