10. Configuring network

The LAN/ WLAN network for communication with
the 3D measurement system of the FWA 4650 wheel
alignment unit has to be manually configured before
it can be started up.
10.1 Deactivating LAN network link
1. Select Start>>Control panel>>Network links.
 The Network links window opens up:

2. Click onto "LAN-Easy 3D" network link with the right
mouse key.
3. Select the "Properties" menu item.
 The "Properties of LAN-Easy 3D" window opens
up:

4. Select the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" item.
5. Click onto the "Properties" button.
 The "Properties of internet protocol (TCP/IP)"
window opens up:

A defined IP address is required for the network link
between the network adapter of the PC/ Laptop and
the PoE switch.

Each network adapter has to have its own IP
address.

The IP address of the "LAN-Easy 3D" network link has
to be changed to an invalid value to be able to then
issue the valid address to the WLAN network link.
6. Select the "Use following IP address" item.
7. Change the IP address in the "IP address" input field
to an invalid value to deactivate the LAN network
adapter.
