4.4.4 CLOSING THE FRAME IN TRANSPORT POSITION

NOTES:
- The following procedure requires the machine to be hitched to
the tractor (see chap. 4.1), open in the work position (see chap
4.4.3) and the switch of the junction box at (3, Fig. 19).
- Before closing the frame in transport position, it is important to
empty all the seed tanks, fertiliser and microgranulated powder
tanks.
1) Activate «line D2» to completely fold the two row marker arms in
transport position.
2) Activate «line D1» to completely lower the machine so that the
carriage pistons are completely retracted (machine set on the
ground, Fig. 22).
3) Turn the switch of the junction box to (2, Fig. 19) and activate «line
D2» of the hydraulic circuit to disengage the side locking latches
(Fig. 23). NOTE: make sure the side latches are completely
removed.
4) Activate «line D1» to lift the machine until the pistons of the central
carriage are fully extended (machine completely lifted from the
ground, Fig. 20).
5) Turn the switch of the junction box to (1, Fig. 19) and activate «line
D2» of the hydraulic circuit to completely close the side fl aps. The
central safety hitch closes automatically. NOTE: make sure the
central safety device is completely inserted.
6) Turn the switch of the junction box to (0, Fig. 19).
7) Shut the valve of the carriage lifting circuit near the tractor hitches
(E, Fig. 18).
8) Position the road clearance tables properly, should they be moved
or removed for work requirements.

4.4.5 PARKING (releasing seed drill from tractor)
Releasing the seed drill from the tractor is very dangerous.
Take great care when carrying out the whole step and follow
the instructions.
NOTES:
- The following procedure requires the machine to be hitched to
the tractor (see chap. 4.1), closed in the transport position (see
chap 4.4.4) and the switch of the junction box at (0, Fig. 19).
- Operate on a fl at surface to correctly release the seed drill.
1) Position the machine in the parking area.
2) Open the valve of the carriage lifting circuit near the tractor
hitches (F, Fig. 18, line D1).
3) Activate the circuit (line D1) to completely lower the machine
so that the carriage pistons are completely retracted (machine
set on the ground, Fig. 22).
4) Insert the wheel chocks under the wheels (A, Fig. 24).
5) Lower the parking props (B, Fig. 25).
6) Completely lower the tractor lift.
7) Turn off the tractor, take out the key and engage the tractor's
handbrake.
8) Disconnect the electric connectors and hydraulic hoses from
the tractor distributors and protect the quick couplings with the
designated caps.
9) Release the cardan shaft from the tractor and set it on the
specifi c hook.
10) Loosen and release the third point (1, Fig. 24) accompanying
the vacuum pump unit to the rear support (Fig. 26).
11) Remove the snap pins and release the fi rst and second point
hitches (2, Fig. 24).
