3.7.2 TABLE OF DISTRIBUTION QUANTITY (kg/Ha)
If using the pinions (C-D) mounted on the seed drill (Fig. 59) you
do not achieve the desired amount, use the alternative chart paying
attention to set the correct transmission ratio (C-D= Z10-Z23... or
Z19-Z23).
To change the transmission ratio, remove the protective guards
and loosen the chain tensioner (2, Fig. 59); swap the position
of the gears (C) and readjust the chain (3).
Stretch the chain again with the tensioner (2) and put the
transmission protective guards back on.
CAUTION: the MINIMAX batcher, adjusted to the fi rst positions
(B0÷C0 or 1÷1.5 with SPEEDY SET) may become clogged because
of the small opening, especially if fertilizers with irregular grain size
are used. If the quantity of fertilizer to be delivered comes within
the fi rst positions (darkened lines on the table) get in touch with
the manufacturer. The fi gures given in the table are approximate
as the specifi c weight and size of the grains often vary. In any
case, always refer to the specifi c weight shown on the product
packaging; if this is not given, get in touch with the manufacturer.
