4.0 RULES OF USE

To obtain the best performance from the equipment, carefully follow
what is set up below.
ATTENTION
All maintenance work, adjustments and preparation for opera-
tion, must be carried out with the power take-off of the tractor
disconnected, the seeder on the ground on its supporting
feet, the tractor not running, the wheels blocked and the key
turned off.
4.1 ATTACHMENT THE TRACTOR
The hooking the seeder from the tractor is a very dangerous
phase. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully throughout
the operation. The operation must be carried out on a level
horizontal plane with the equipment supported by the parking
prop and with the wheel chocks duly placed under the wheels
(A, Fig. 15).
IMPORTANT! During operation, the equipment must always
be perpendicular to the ground (90°, Fig. 15).
At this stage, proceed as follows:
1) Secure the equipment to the fi rst and second coupling points of
the tractor (1, Fig 15). Lock the pins into place with the snap pins.
2) Switch off the tractor, remove the ignition key and pull the
parking brake.
3) Connect the third upper point (2, Fig. 15); the pin will be blocked
with the appropriate split pin.
4) Connect the Cardan shaft and make sure that it is perfectly
blocked on the power take-off (Fig. 12). Check that the guard
turns freely and fi x it with the chain provided. By means of the
adjusting tie rod (3, Fig. 15) set the vacuum pump perpendi-
cular to the ground (90°, Fig. 15)
5) Properly connect the hydraulic hoses and the electric connec-
tors to the tractor (D1-D2, Fig. 14).
6) Raise the support feet (B, Fig. 13). Block the pin locks with the
snap pins.
7) Remove the wheel chocks from under the wheels.
