Changingflattyresrequiresonlythenecessarytoolsandminimaltechnicalskills.Usersmay
changetyresthemselvesiftheywish.Werecommendcarryinganemergencyrepairkitandtyre
pumpatalltimes(ifusingpneumatictyres).
Suitabletyrepumpsarelistedontheorderformandaresuppliedwiththeproduct.Alternatively,
userscankeepaspraycanofhardeningfoam(availableatbicycleshops)tofillatyreincase
ofpunctures.
• Incaseofaflattyre,carefullyremovethetyrefromtherimusingtheappropriatetools.
• Takecarenottodamagetherimortheinnertube.
• Repairtheinnertubeaccordingtothedirectionsintherepairkit,or,replacethedamaged
innertubewithanewone.
• Beforere-mountingthetyre,inspecttheinnerrimsurfaceandtheinsideofthetyreforany
objectthatmayhavecausedthepuncture.
• Besurethattherimbandsarenotdamaged.Theyprotectthetubefrombeingdamagedby
theendsofthespokes.
Mounting
• Placetheprotectiverimbandoverthevalve.Thenpushthevalvethroughtherim.Screwon
thevalvenut.Therimbandcanthenbeeasilyapplied.
• Ensurethatallspokeendsarecovered.
Tyres
• Beginningbehindthevalve,placethelowersideofthetyreovertheedgeofthewheelrim.
Pumpthetubewithasmallamountofairuntilitassumesitsroundshape,andtheninsertit
intothetyre.
• Checktoensuretheinnertubeisproperlypositionedallaroundandisfreeoffolds;ifthis
isnotthecase,releasesomeoftheair.Nowyoucaneasilyinstalltheuppersideofthetyre
startingacrossfromthevalve,usingbothhandsandworkingtowardsthevalve.
