3.6 BEFORE USE

WARNING
(Valid for "COMBI" version only)
First check the position of the arm. If it is still in the
storage position (1 fi g.37), take out the pins and fi t it in
the correct position (2 fi g.38).
WARNING
Always install the accident-prevention guards before
using the machine.
These will have been supplied demounted for transport
reasons.
- Using the U-bolts (1 fi g.39, fi g.40) and nuts (2 fi g.39),
mount the front guards (3 fi g.39, fi g.40) on the tube (4
fi g.39, fi g.40).
Carry out the following operations before using the machine:
- Check that the machine is in perfect order, that the lubri-
cants are at the correct levels (consult the «Maintenance»
chapter) and that all parts subject to wear and deterioration
are fully effi cient.
- Check that the machine, even those equipped with rollers,
are well adjusted in order to obtain the desired work depth.
Strictly comply with the following instructions to obtain the
best performances from the machine.
WARNING
None of the following servicing, adjustment and prepa-
ration operations must be carried out unless the pto is
disengaged, the machine is on the ground, the tractor
engine is off and the tractor itself is safely at a braked.
