Pipe interrupter

7.5.1

Removal

 Insert screwdriver into side aperture [31]. Pry pipe
interruptor
WARNING
 Remove the connecting nipple
interrupter [30].
WARNING
7.5.2

Installation

 Lubricate the connecting nipple's O-ring (fig. 7.27, [33]) with silicone grease.
Use the same grease as for the peristaltic pump.
If the connecting nipples are not lubricated they can become impossible to remove
WARNING
and can leak due to excessive wear.
 Install the connecting nipple
 Push the pipe interruptor
WARNING
Never apply direct pressure to the connecting nipple - risk of breakage.
7.6

Solenoid valve

7.6.1 Removal
 Disconnect the
supply.
 Shut down water inlet.
 Unscrew and remove feed hose [35].
Use second open-end wrench to brace against brass adapter
[38].
The solenoid valve
element [37]. Bracing element is held in its limit position
by the brass adapter [38].

To remove the pipe interruptor
support, [32] never fit it to the connecting
nipple [33]. Risk of breakage.

Never pull/pry hose

[30] backwards until it clicks into place in the holder [32].
