Mounting Instructions and Trial Fitting
With the orthosis applied, the sitting joint can be
pre-released in all positions by pressing the re-
lease button (Fig. 11). Under this load-bearing
condition, the sitting joint only releases when the
legs are parallel and the hip is also over-exten-
ded briefly.
In case of incorrect alignment see chapter 3.3.

To finish the orthosis, the thigh bars must be glued
in place with the included 636W28 Special Adhe-
sive (observe processing instructions). If the
bar must be replaced, heat the adhesive with a
hot air gun so that the bar can be pulled from the
lower joint section.
INFORMATION
Processing instructions for 636W28 Ottobock Spe-
cial Adhesive:
Degrease the surfaces to be glued with 634A1
Thinner or Solvent, thoroughly mix the contents of
the two tubes of special adhesive and hardener,
and apply the mixture to the surfaces to be glued.
The adhesive takes 3 to 4 hours to set. Final bon-
ding strength will be reached after 16 hours.
