2.4 Joint mechanism functionality
When the release button is pressed, the sitting
joint lock mechanism will be pre-released with
an audible click.
If the mechanism has been pre-released by
mistake, it can be re-locked by pressing the
mechanism's safety button.
Complete release of the sitting joints is only possi-
ble in the neutral position (thigh bars are parallel).
The lower joint sections are brought to the paral-
lel position from a forward or backward stepping
position, with the walking joint being blocked and
the sitting joint being released in the process.
