The drainage system and its location are presented in Figure 2. Bilge pumps and/
or the ends of suction tubes are located as close to the baseboard as possible. It is,
however, natural that the bilge always contains a small quantity of water that the bilge
pump cannot remove. The drain hole is located on the right side of the transom.
Buster models Magnum Pro, Super Magnum, Magnum, Cabin, XSr and XS
are equipped with a manual bilge pump. The capacity of the bilge pump is
approximately 22 l/min in the Magnum Pro, Super Magnum, Magnum and Cabin
and approximately 18 l/min in the Buster XS when the pump is operated 45 times
per minute. In the Magnum, the bilge pump handle is stowed in a plastic holder next
to the pump. In the XS, the pump handle is fixed.
Buster models Magnum Pro, Super Magnum, Magnum, Cabin, XXL, XL, XL Pro, X,
Lx, Lx Pro, L, M and S, Scc are equipped with an automatic electric bilge pump that
drains water from the bilge when the surface sensor detects water. The capacity of
the electric bilge pump is approximately 38 l/min. The automatic pump is ready for
operation at all times regardless of the position of the main switch if the battery is
connected to the circuit. The bilge pump activates when the sensor has been fully
submerged for 10 seconds and deactivates when the sensor has detected no water
for 2 seconds. The pump may also be operated manually using the spring-loaded
switch on the switch panel.
