c) Basic settings
The measuring instrument allows for setting of basic user-related data via a menu. Such data includes the menu
language, menu units, time and date, etc.
These settings must be set in advance, as, for example, measured data can be stored with a time stamp, etc.
With the measuring instrument switched on, pressing the menu button opens the settings menu. The figure shows the
complete settings menu in English in the as-delivered condition.
Due to the size of the display, only 7 menu areas can be displayed. Use the up and down cursor buttons to scroll the
menu. The selected menu item is highlighted orange.
The menu has the following setting functions:
d) Setting the menu language
On commissioning, set the menu language to your national language.
Switch the measuring instrument on and press the menu button.
Press the down cursor button until the 'Language' menu item is highlighted orange. Press the 'Menu' button or right
cursor to select this menu item. Use the up and down cursor buttons to select your language. Confirm your entry with
the 'Menu' button or right cursor.
