• Thoroughly wash the filter with water and specific soap for washing filters.
• Dry the filter in a ventilated area.
• Wet the filter with filter oil and then remove the excess oil to prevent it from drip-
ping.
• If necessary also clean the interior of the filter box.
WARNING:
Do not clean the filter with gasoline or petrol.
NOTE:
If the filter is damaged, replace it immediately.
To replace the damaged filter, contact authorised Betamotor customer service.
WARNING:
Never use the vehicle if the air filter is not in place. The infiltration of dust and
dirt can cause damage and considerable wear.
WARNING:
After every intervention, check that nothing has been left inside the filter box.

SpaRK pluG

Keeping the spark plug in good condition will reduce fuel consumption and increase
engine performance.
To perform the check, just extract the spark plug cap and unscrew the spark plug by
means of the provided wrench.
Measure the spark gap with a thickness gauge. The gap should be 0,5 - 0,6 mm. If
the gap is not as specified, restore the proper gap by bending the earth electrode.

Check as well that there are no cracks in
the insulation or corroded electrodes. If so,
replace immediately.

When replacing the spark plug, screw it in
by hand until it stops, then tighten.
WARNING:
Do not check while the engine is hot.
