Classification of Safety-Related Notices

This manual contains notices which you should observe to ensure your own personal safety, as well as to protect
the product and connected equipment. These noti--ces are highlighted in the manual by a warning triangle and
are marked as follows according to the level of danger:
DANGER
!
indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or
serious injury.
WARNING
!
indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
CAUTION
!
used with the safety alert symbol indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
CAUTION
used without the safety alert symbol indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in property damage.
NOTICE
indicates a potential situation which, if not avoided, may result in an undesirable result or
state.

indicates a reference to a possible advantage when this recommendation is followed.
