Description
The Codix 538 display is a process display used to
show a CANopen process value.
It uses a 8 mm high 6-digit 7-segment red LED
display. The integrated CAN controller supports the
transmission according to the CAN specification
2.0A / 2.0B up to 1 MBaud max. The protocol is
CANopen compliant. Addressing 16 different
addresses is possible using the rotary coding
selector switch on the back side of the device.
Parameterizing is carried out via the CANopen bus.
The display receives an instruction telling it which
information out of a CAN message is to be
displayed, and in which format. This allows the
display to filter independently the relevant data out
of the whole CAN information flow, without
requiring direct instructions. Display range: -99999
to 999999. The decimal point can be freely
selected.

The automatic baud rate recognition recognizes
automatically all baud rates stated in the table. The
recognition requires receiving valid CAN telegrams.
For this operation, two other devices must be
connected to the bus.
