GVA/R Wheel clamping quick collet
An alternative to the GVA spinner, its specially designed ratchets make wheel clamp-
ing faster and safer.
LG Bead Guide lever
Used to keep the bead in the rim drop centre during tyre mounting.
LC Split rim lever
To remove the clamping ring of wheels with bead wire.
LRB Large rim board
Makes wide rim removal and subsequent clamping easier and safer.
AUC Self-centering chuck
Clamps wheels devoid of central flange.
Supplied with wrench, can be used on wheels with 20" to 24.5" diameter.
BBD Bead breaker disk
Designed for demounting wheels with bead wires; ideal for bead breaking tyres that
are particularly difficult to handle, also for other types of rims.
If the tyre changer has to be moved, follow these steps:
1) Place the bead breaking rollers in the storage position (Fig. P).
2) Lower the vertical carriage completely.
3) Move the horizontal carriage to the outside (all the way right).
4) Disconnect the tyre changer from the electric power source.
5) Tie the control console to the spindle with a piece of rope as shown in Fig. K.

6) Place a lifting webbing strap around the spindle
shaft hub. This strap must be at least 60 mm wide and
its length should be sufficient so that it can reach
beyond the top of the tyre changer (see Fig. K).
7) Use a strap ring to join the two ends together
and lift the machine using hoisting equipment with
adequate lifting capacity.
