13. Rating plate

The rating plate (Abb� 30) is at-
tached to the underside of the seat
shell� Here you will find the serial
number and size of your MAGIC-
LIGHT�
Please provide this information
with any replacement part orders
or if you require accessories!

14. Maintenance / inspection

Periodic maintenance and inspection of the seating system is indispensable for
the well-being of the patient� Please inspect your MAGICLIGHT regularly for wear
or defective parts�
Prior to each use:
Inspect all cushions for damage and ensure proper placement�

Inspect the straps on the chest harness and lap belt for wear and ensure

secure support�
Important: Worn out straps must be replaced immediately�
Inspect all moveable parts to ensure that they are securely in place�

Inspect the settings of the patient's seat�

Important: Readjust settings, as necessary�
Every 4 weeks (or more frequently, depending on frequency of use):
Inspect the seat undercarriage for damage�

Inspect the compression spring of the dynamic back rest�

Important: If the compression spring breaks, have it replaced immediately�
Inspect the spring plate on the back rest recline�

Important: If the spring plate breaks, have it replaced immediately�
Inspect all threaded connections and clamping levers�

Important: Have any damaged clamping levers replaced immediately�
Every 6 months (or more frequently, depending on frequency of use):
Complete MAGICLIGHT inspection by the medical supplies store or local dealer�
