Adjusting the strap arrangement:
Unzip the zipper on the upper

back unit cushion�
Loosen the 2 screws on each

side with the Allen wrench
(size 4)�
Adjust the strap guide plates

to enable optimal arrangement
of the chest harness straps�
Re-tighten screws with the

Allen wrench (size 4)�
Check strap arrangement on

the patient�
Readjust, as necessary�

Zip the zipper closed on the

upper back unit cushion�

Incorrect arrangement:
Straps arranged too closely

around the neck – risk of
strangulation�
Straps arranged too loosely

around the shoulders – straps
could slip off the patient's
shoulders; the patient is then
no longer secured and could
fall out of the chair, resulting
in possible injury�
10.12 Arm rests
The arm rests (Fig� 19) are individu-
ally and variably adjustable for each patient� The height of the arm rests (3) is
adjusted using the incremental height adjustment mechanism� To do so, press the
lever (1) and adjust the arm rest to the desired height� The angle of the arm rest is
adjusted using clamping levers (2)� Turn the clamping lever two revolutions to loosen
it, adjust the arm rest to the correct angle, and re-tighten the clamping lever (2)�
