2 Important!
After you have tightened the screws,
check once more to ensure that the
seat and back rest are in the cor-
rect position in order ensure that
the patient is seated comfortably
in the MAGICLIGHT� Readjust, as
necessary�
Pull the back cushions back

down over the red clamping
lever and close them�
10.4.5 Tighten the adjusting screws
Tighten the adjusting screws

with the Allen wrench (size 4)�
Check all adjustable parts once more to ensure that they are secure and

re-tighten screws, as necessary�
2 Important!
The adjusting screws (Fig� 10)
are the most important anchor-
age points on the MAGICLIGHT
and they must be inspected on
a regular basis to ensure that
they are secure� This is the only
way to maintain the adjustments
in accordance with the patient's
measurements and ensure that
the patient is seated correctly in
the MAGICLIGHT�
Re-attach the abduction cushion�

Re-attach the side cushions�

Replace the seat overlay�

Make sure that all of the cushions are attached without any creases in order to
protect the patient against pressure areas� The seat overlay is designed to fit all
