wrench (size 8) is only required for
disassembly and repositioning of
the lateral side support cushions�
1 Important!
The Allen wrench must always be
kept with your MAGICLIGHT in or-
der to enable the performance of any necessary adjustments to the seat or im-
mediately tighten any threaded connections that may have become loose�
10.3 Seat shell/adjusting screws
The seat shell (Fig� 5) is made of
light-weight aluminum and its width
and length are each able to be indi-
vidually adjusted by up to 5 cm� In
order to be able to perform a pre-
cise adjustment the patient's indi-
vidual measurements must first be
taken� Due to the fact that the width
of the seat is adjusted without cush-
ions, it is necessary to add 2 cm per cushion to the measurements� In order to
achieve ideal stability it is advisable to adjust one side first and then the other side�
10.4 Adjusting the seat shell
Remove the seat overlay, the side cushions, and the abduction cushion�

Loosen the adjusting screws with the Allen wrench (size 4)�

10.4.1 Seat depth (thigh length)
Adjusting the seat depth (Fig� 6):
After loosening the adjusting

screws (1 / 2), you will be able
to slide the plates lengthwise
for leg length adjustment and
adjust them to the individual
measurements of the patient�
