Loosen the upper back rest (4) and pull it up and off�
Unzip the zippers (5) on the back cover above and below the lateral side
supports�
Open the back cover and pull up on it to remove it�
Remove foam cushion�
Remove lateral side supports (using Allen wrench [size 4], open-ended
wrench [size 10])�
It is now possible to reattach the lateral side supports in accordance with the
patient's individual measurements�
Replace foam cushion�
Replace back cushion cover and close it below�
Zip the zippers (5) closed on the back cover above and below the lateral
side supports�
Replace upper back rest (4) and align it parallel to the lower back rest�
Re-tighten screws on upper back rest�
Re-tighten the chest harness strap (1) at the clip buckles (2)�
Insert head rest and adjust it to the correct height (see Fig� 15)�
Place patient in the chair�
Adjust lateral side supports and re-tighten screws�
Zip the zipper closed on the back cover�

10.6 Back rest/Back height
The back rest (Fig� 13) consists of two sections, a lower fixed section connected
to the seat shell using pivot points and the upper, moveable section that is able
to be adjusted� This enables the back height to be increased by up to 5 cm�
Only the upper section is adjusted to the height of the patient� This design has
the advantage of enabling the strap guide tabs and the straps to be automatically
adjusted along with the back height�
Adjusting the back rest:
Remove the head rest (see Fig� 15)
Unzip the back zipper on the lower back rest�
Loosen the 2 screws with the Allen wrench (size 4)�
Adjust the back height to the measurements of the patient�
