10.10 Back rest/Chest harness
The standard equipment supplied
with the MAGICLIGHT includes a
unisex upholstered chest harness
(1) (Fig� 17)� In order to be able to
place the patient in the seat loosen
the lower clips (2) and the lower
clip buckles (3) on the strap guide
plates�
Fold back the chest harness

(1) and place the patient in the
seat�
Pull the chest harness (1) over

the patient's head from behind
and secure the strap to the
clips (2)�
Tighten the lower straps

slightly and secure with the clip buckles (3)�
Check upper strap arrangement�

Important!
Make sure that the straps are not pressing on the patient's neck to avoid the risk
of strangulation�
Tighten upper straps and secure patient�

If upper strap placement is not optimal, then readjust the strap guide plates
(see Fig� 18)�
10.11 Back rest/Strap arrangement
MAGICLIGHT comes equipped with strap guide plates (Fig� 18) which enable in-
dividual strap adjustment and optimal arrangement of the chest harness straps
for each patient� The strap guide plates are mounted on the upper back unit in
order to automatically ensure the same default strap arrangement when the
back height is adjusted� The arrangement of the chest harness straps should be
centered over the collar bone�
