4.2 RECOMMENDATIONS

Have your device connected to the power supply by a certified dental installation technician. The
electrical connection of the I-Endo Dual must comply with the standards applicable in your country.

4.3 INSTALLATION

Important:
Do not place the I-Endo Dual close to or on top of another device.
Do not place the power cord and the footswitch cord in a wire cover or in a cable gland.
1. Remove the unit and its accessories from their original packaging and place on a flat surface. Do not
install near heat sources, direct or indirect.
2. Verify the contents of the box according to the section "3.1 PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION".
3. Do not kink the motor hose since it may damage it.
4. All accessories are supplied non-sterile.
5. The serial number on the unit's rear panel must be the same as the one on transport documents.
6. Allow at least 150 mm free space around the unit for cooling ventilation.
- Place the control unit in position on a fixed surface, horizontal or with a slope of no more than 5°.
- Check that the power switch is in position O (off).
- Connect the power cord to the receptacle of the device.
- Connect the power cord to a socket.
- Connect the control footswitch to the footswitch connector.
- Position the footswitch so that it is easily accessible for your feet.
- Connect the micro-motor and cord to the connector.
- Place the micro-motor on its rest.

5.1 START UP

When first switched on the unit will show "Rotating Mode", and values set by manufacturer on the
display. (Fig.5)
Use "MODE" button to toggle from "Rotating" Mode to "F+R" Mode

5.2 SETTINGS

I-Endo Dual will store the operative parameters for each "program" as soon as they will be set by the
user and they will be maintained in the memory even if the central unit will be switched off. For each
"program" it is possible to set: speed, torque, ratio, type of auto-reverse, values of the Angle in FWD
and REV. To reset the parameters to the manufacturer ones (Software unit reset), press the
"Program" key while the unit is switched on (Fig. 6).
Before turning on the central unit, check to see that you have completed
the installation of ALL COMPONENTS.
