2. Using as a booster seat

The HEYNER MultiProtect may be placed on all passenger seats of the vehicle that are equipped
with a three-point-vehicle-belt. The child seat must not be positioned on a vehicle seat, which only
has a lap belt (O), example given the centre back seat of cars with three seats in the back.
The tree-point-belt of a vehicle is made of 4 parts: the lap belt (O), the diagonal belt (N), the belt
latch (P) and the belt buckle (Q).

Place the HEYNER MultiProtect on the car seat, set your child in and secure your child with the lap
(O) and diagonal belts (N) of the three-point-vehicle-belt. Now fasten the three-point seat-belt with
an audible »click« sound.
Make sure that the lap belt runs under the fixation lugs (L) on both sides and that the diagonal belt
leads only under the fixation lugs (L) on the side of the belt buckle (Q).

Finish the fixing of the belts by fixing the belt block anchor (T). This piece makes sure the diagonal
belt (N) lies firmly over the child's shoulder and optimizes the belt guidance. Thread the belt block
anchor (T), which is fixed on the back side of the seat part, onto the diagonal belt (N) at the height
just behind the child's shoulder. The string to fix the belt block anchor to the seat must lead behind
the back of the child.
Warning: Do not fasten the belts in any other way than described here, otherwise the child will not
be held or secured properly. Make sure that the diagonal belt is carefully positioned and does not
run too close to the child's neck. All belts must lie firmly against the child's body without twisting. If
necessary, install a height adjuster mechanism into the car to correspond to your child's size.

Care instructions

To wash the seat cover, release the shoulder belts and the waist belt from the seat before.
Then you can simply peel off all covers. After washing and pulling over the covers again make
sure the shoulder and waist belts are positioned correctly again. The cover can be washed at
85ºF/30ºC.
Attention: Please do not spin. Do not dry in a dryer.

Important notices

• The HEYNER MultiProtect child seat is approved in accordance to the European Standard for
child restraint systems ECE-R 44/04. The test symbol as well as the permit number can be
found on the orange label on the rear side of the seat.
• This child seat can only be used in vehicles with three-point seat-belts, that are
approved by the ECE regulation No. 16 or other comparable standards.
It is strictly forbidden to install this seat with the lap belt alone.• It is not allowed to do any
changes on the seat or the belts.
• Each change of any part of the seat, which is not done by the manufacturer,
will cause the expiration of the ECE- approval and excludes immediately any warranties.
• The child must always be fastened in the seat. Before you put the child in the seat,
make sure that the seat belt length is correct, as this can vary. Please note: you must never
leave the child unattended, even outside the car!
• A child is only permitted to lie for a limited period of maximum
1-2 hours in the seat without break. This can also vary from child to child and if you
have any doubt, please ask your pedestrian. Wrong usage of the seat could lead to
spinal damages.
• Should any doubts occur, contact your supplier, dealer or
