Secure your child in it by fastening the lap and diagonal belts of the
three-point-vehicle-belts and locking the belt buckle with an audible
»click« sound. On both sides the lap belt (O) and the diagonal belt (N)
need to be guided under the fixation lugs (L) to the belt lock.
ATTENTION:
Make sure that the diagonal belt runs over the clavicle
of your child and does not fit tightly to the body.
The belts must not be twisted.
Thread the diagonal belt through the belt guide (1 or 10)
at the headrest and tighten it in the direction of the retracting
mechanism. Make sure that the diagonal belt lies flat against the
child's body and that it is not twisted.
ATTENTION:
The lap belt must not be guided in a different way,
otherwise the child does not have the necessary hold.
Make sure that the diagonal belt is guided exactly and
that it is not too close to the throat of the child.
All the belts must be pulled tight to the child
and should not be twisted.
Adjust the seat belt height adjusters in your car to
the size of your child.

3. Care instructions

To wash the seat cover, release the shoulder belts by pressing the seat
belt adjuster (H) and by pulling the shoulder harnesses (G2) towards
you.
Loosen the shoulder belts (shoulder harness) from the belt anchor (K)
and the shoulder pad belts from the connecting hooks and pull out
the ends of the belts in a forward direction.
Then you can simply peel off all covers.
Belts and locks must not be washed.
The cover can be washed at 30°C
or by hand and with a mild detergent.
Please note the instructions of the washing
label.
Plastic parts can be cleaned with soapy water.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning materials.
Shoulder pads can be cleaned in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
ATTENTION:Please do not spin. Do not dry in a dryer.
ATTENTION:When again covering HEYNER® MultiProtect ERGO 3D-SP, make sure to fix the
shoulder belts (G2) firmly correctly on the belt anchorage (R) and to fix the shoulder pad
belts (SG) on the connecting hooks (VH). Assure that the belts are lying correctly. In case you
feel unsure, take some photos BEFORE the dismounting of the parts.
