CD operation

• CD drive slot (26)
Open the front panel with the button OPEN (5) and slide a CD into the CD drive. CD playback starts automatically.

Always insert the CD with the printed side on top.
• EJECT button (27)
Press this button to eject a CD.
• Button 1 / PLAY/PAUSE (18)
Press this button during playback to interrupt the CD playback shortly. When you confirm the button again, replay
will begin at the point where it was interrupted.
Press this button longer to start playback from the first track on the CD.
• Buttons UP / # (4) and DOWN / * (8)
With these buttons you can select individual tracks of a CD or search for a certain section within one CD track.

The arrows on the buttons indicate the search direction (up or down).
Only press the buttons shortly to jump to the next or previous track.
Press the buttons longer to search a certain section within one track. The CD is now in fast replay.
• Button 6 / Track+10 (12) and button 5 / Track-10 (13)
Press these buttons to jump up and down by 10 tracks quickly. It functions like the button UP/# (4) ad DOWN / * (8),
but skips 10 tracks every time.

These buttons are only active in MP3 mode.
