DSP
DSP OFF:
The digital signal processor is switched off.
DSP POP:
The sound characteristic is adapted to pop music.
DSP ROCK:
The sound characteristic is adapted to rock music.
DSP CLAS:
The sound characteristic is adapted to classical music.
DSP FLAT:
DSP is active, but there is no sound adaptation.
If the DSP is activated, it is not possible to control the sound via the bass/treble controls.
LOUD ON/OFF
LOUD ON:
The loudness correction is active.
LOUD OFF:
The loudness correction is inactive. The sound is not influenced.
At low volumes the human ear does not perceive very low and very high sounds well. An increase of
the frequency range for low volume (loudness correction) counteracts this effect and the music replay
sounds more natural.
CLOCK FORMAT
12 HOURS:
The time is displayed in 12-hour format.
24 HOURS:
The time is displayed in 24-hour format.
VOL LAST/ADJ
VOL LAST:
When turning the device on, the volume is as high as it was when the device was turned off.
VOL ADJ:
The preset volume is selected when turning the device on.
To influence this presetting, press the volume control/dial control (23) or the button SEL/ENT (30)
on the remote control while VOL ADJ is indicated on the display. Then set the desired activation
volume by turning the volume control/dial control (23).
