General
Switch the unit on [1]. The display shows the pro-
gram settings as programmed under program
number 0. A preferred program has been entered in
the factory. This can be replaced by your own pre-
ferred settings. For the procedure, we refer to para-
graph "Programs" of this chapter.
Select with push-button [8] the desired therapy type.
Blinking of the symbol indicates the chosen therapy
type. The adjustment will change by operating the
push-button once again.
Select with push-button [9] the desired current type
(if applicable).
The different parameters are selected with the push-
buttons [10] / [14]. One push-button operates all
parameters which lies on the same horizontal line.
Parameters are set by means of the central control
[17]. As long as the symbol of the parameter is blink-
ing the parameter can be altered. The display only
displays the parameters which are applicable for the
chosen therapy form.

Connect the ultrasound treatment head.
Operate button [10] once, the "frequency" sym-
bol and MHz-indication blink [I], set the ultrasound
frequency by means of the central control [17].
Operate button [11] once, the "duty cycle" sym-
bol blink [K], adjust the desired duty cycle by
means of the central control [17].
Operate button [13] once, the "min" symbol blink
[Q], set the treatment time by means of the cen-
tral control [17].
Operate button [14] once, the "display mode"
symbol blink [S], alter the adjustment by means
of the central control [17].
Set the ultrasound intensity by means of the in-
tensity control [19].
Position the ultrasound treatment head on the
patient (using gel as a contact medium).
Connect the patient cable and ultrasound treat-
ment head.
Use only the positive electrode of the patient ca-
ble. This is identified by a red connector sleeve.
Select with button [8] "combination therapy" [B].
Select with button [9] "two-pole interferential
therapy" [D].
Operate button [10] once, the "frequency" sym-
bol and kHz-indicator [G] blink, alter the carrier
frequency by means of the central control [17].
Operate button [10] once, the "frequency" sym-
bol and MHz-indicator [I] blink, set the ultrasound
frequency by means of the central control [17].
Operate button [11] once, the "stimulation fre-
quency" symbol [J] blink, set the frequency by
means of the central control [17].
Operate button [11] once, the "duty cycle" sym-
bol [K] blink, set the duty cycle by means of the
central control [17].
Operate button [12] once, the "frequency modu-
lation" symbol [L] blink, adjust the frequency by
means of the central control [17]. As soon as the
frequency is set the "frequency modulation pro-
grams" symbol [M] appears on the display.
Operate button [12] once, the "frequency modu-
lation programs" symbol [M] blink, alter the modu-
lation program by means of the central control
[17].
Operate button [13] once, the "min" symbol [Q]
blink, set the treatment time by means of the
central control [17].
