The enclosed charge cable is suited for accumulators with „Tamija" plug system.
Other optional charge cables are available for different plug systems.
When connecting accumulators, always observe the charging
instructions of the accumulator manufacturer concerned.
Prevent short circuits when inserting/removing.
The charger automatically sets the right charge voltage for your accumulator.
The charge process starts automatically in „slow" charge mode with a max. charge
current of 100 mA.
The „slow" indicator flashes and a signal tone sounds each minute. This mode is also
used for trickle charging once the accumulator was fully charged.

Charging

Never cover the charger to prevent damage (from overheating).
When charging accumulators, always observe the charging regula-
tions of the accumulator manufacturer concerned.
In the case of incorrect handling (excessive charging current or incor-
rect polarity), the accumulator can be overcharged or destroyed. In
the worst case, the accumulator could explode and cause considera-
ble damage.
Only charge Li-Ion/Polymer accumulators with integrated overload
protection. Never exceed the charge current (max. 1C). Always
charge Li-accumulators in a dry environment. Dampness may des-
troy your accumulators.
Only operate the charger on smooth, heat-resistant surfaces. The
device and the accumulators may become hot during charging.
Never cover up the charger and ensure sufficient ventilation.
Set the rotary switch (10) to the lowest value of 0.5 A (left stop). The charge current is
set via this charger.
In order to access the fast charge mode, connect the accumulator as described in
chapter „Accumulator connection". Press the MODE button (9) once.
- The green display goes off and the red „fast" indicator lights up. The set accumula-
tor type appears once again on the LCD (4) for control.
- Different parameters can be selected via the slider on the side (5). Depending on
the switch position, you can display the current accumulator voltage, the charge
current or the capacity.
