11. Assembling the Model

Before assembling the model, please read each individual section carefully. The construction stages are illustrated for better understanding.
Please note that the numbers in the text always refer to the components in the illustration to the right.
Only carry out the steps described in the different sections if you have completely understood the procedure and know exactly what to observe.

a) Fuselage

The fuselage and canopy are completely painted and decorated ex works. Motor, speed adjuster, servos and receiver are installed ready for
operation.
Thus, only a few things remain to be done with the model fuselage. Please observe the information provided in the following chapters.
Glue the canopy (1) to the fuselage tip with rigid foam superglue.
The figure shows the fuselage from below. You can see: Battery compartment
(2), nose landing gear receptacle (3), receiver compartment (4), speed adjuster
and impeller cover (5). On the side, you can see the elevator unit receptacle
(6), an elevator servo and the wing shaping (8).

b) Attaching the Wings to the Fuselage

The left and right wings are glued to the sides of the fuselage. For this, both the wings and the fuselage have the respective shapings to determine the correct
position.
At the side of the fuselage (1) and in the wings (2), there are aileron cables with
plugs that must be exposed before gluing. First pull out the cable a bit.
Push the left and then the right wing onto the shapings on the fuselage (3)
without glue and check them for proper fit. The aileron linkages must be on the
bottom.
If everything fits properly, you can glue the left and, when the glue has cured,
the right wing on with 5 minutes epoxy glue.
For this, put glue on the adhesive surfaces and fix them in place until the glue
has cured. Remove any excess glue with a moistened cloth immediately.
When the glue has cured, you may connect the aileron plugs. Plug and cables
can be pushed into the small cavity (4) and secured with a strip of transparent
adhesive tape.
Caution!
Inaccurate work in this assembly stage influences the flight properties very negatively. Badly glued parts also increase the risk of the wings
breaking off at the glued lines in flight. Therefore, we suggest that wing attachment is performed with a helper and in a very precise way.
