tant information regarding setting-up and operation. Please remember

instructions assume previous knowledge of measuring devices and
PCs.

Introduction

Dear Customer, in purchasing this True rms Bench Multimeter you have acquired a
state-of-the-art product. Alongside the usual measurement functions, this device
includes special features designed to make a whole range of measuring tasks much
simpler: Data Hold enabling you to store measurement values), Auto Hold (enabling
you to obtain min., max. and mean values), a measurement value memory (including
10 memory locations) and comparative measurement. The variables, voltage and
current are measured and displayed as true rms.
The product is designed according to Protection Class 1 to standards VDE 0411
(= EN 61010) and VDE 0551 (= EN 60742). The device is also EMV safety-tested
and thus meets current European and German guidelines. Conformity has been
demonstrated and the relevant documentation (declaration) are on file with the
manufacturer.
To maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, you should, as user, carefully
read these operating instructions!
