clear (all-pole separation of an electrical system from live parts),

secure against switching on again

establish freedom from voltage,

earth and short-circuit,

cover or fence off neighbouring live parts.

Prevent penetration of water into the terminal block

Wear gloves suited for working with gases/vapours and all kinds of deposits.

Wear suffi cient protective clothing and goggles.

Pay attention to the safety data sheet of the chemical substance used.

Wear protective gloves in maintenance and cleaning work.
12.2
Maintenance
As ball bearings with „lifetime lubrication" have been used, the EX fans are maintenance-free to a great extent. After
the end of the period of use for the grease, replacement of the bearings is necessary.
12.2.1 Preconditions
•
The 5 rules of electrical engineering are applied.
•
The area has been marked by a number of visible signs „Maintenance work".
12.2.2 Maintenance intervall
Normal strain:
Major contamination or wear:

maintain the fans at least twice a year.
