11.1

Careless use of aggressive media can lead to very severe injuries.

Wear gloves suited for working with gases/vapours and all kinds of deposits.

Wear suffi cient protective clothing and goggles.
»
Pay attention to the safety data sheet of the chemical substance used.
• The device may only be removed from operation by trained personnel paying attention to the relevant directives.
Fundamental understanding and skills in dealings with masonry is a precondition.
•
When removing from operation, abide by the plant-related conditions and requirements of the system manufacturer
or plant builder.
11.2

Mode of procedure

 Following the instructions in this chapter.
1. Switch the fan off.
2. Disconnect the electrical lines from the motor.
3. Moisten the metallic parts with a light layer of oil in order to prevent oxidation.
4. Cover the fan with a dust covering of nylon.
