When
the player is local in
EDIT
mode, i.e.
the user specifies a track number
on
the CD-player's keyboard, then the command module will display the following
pattern:

This LED shows
that the fader for the player has been opened. lt will have
the
following
states.
'
OFF
-
The
fader for
the player
is
closed.
.
ON
-
The
fader for the player is open AND the disc
is
playing.
This
would
normally imply that
the output from this CD player is 'live'.
Note
that when the
fader
for the player
is
open that the lid of the CD player
will
be locked and the
keyboard disabled except for the
following
keys:
r
RT/ET
.
AUTOPAUSEOFF
No key commands will
be
accepted from
the
EDIT
module
(i.e.
it is impossible
to enter
EDIT
mode with
a
fader open!).
r
FLASHING
- The
fader for
the
player is
open but
the player
is
not playing.
This
may happen e.g.
if
a segment has been played to the end and the CD player
is
now pausing
at
the end
of
the segment with
audio muted.
(yellow)
This
LED
shows that the
disc
is
playing
in
the player.
The indicator
will
have the
following
states:
r
OFF
-
The
disc
in
the player
is
not playing.
.
ON
-
The
disc
in
the player is playing. Whenever any
audio output
of
the player
is
active
the
LED
will be on, including playing when the system
is
in
EDIT
mode
(e.9.
scrubbing by means
of
the cuewheel).
