Fader Play
Auto
Pause
Varispeed
RT/ET key
A
LED
on the
fader play key
[9]
indicates whether
fader play is on
or
off. Pressing
the fader play key causes
a
toggle action
of
the fader start enable
mode.
When
fader start is enabled then
the
player
will take note of
the state of the fader
input. When the fader
is
opened
the
player
will start
playing
the
current
CD
segment and
the keyboard
is
disabled.
lf
fader start is enabled and a new CD
is
inserted with the fader
open the player will
not staft
playing
the
CD.
The same will happen if
a
player is allocated
to
the
system (e.9. after
a
power interruption). The only condition
when
a
fader
is
considered active
is
when
the fader is moved from
the closed to the open
state
{ed
ge
triggering function).
This key can be blocked in
the ON position by an internal Dll-switch individually
for each command module.
A
LED
on the auto pause key [10] indicates whether auto pause is
on or
off.
Pressing the
auto pause key again switches the function
off.
Auto pause, when on, instructs the CD player after
a
play
command
to wait
at
the
beginning of the next track, index
1.
The player
will only play on if
a
start signal
is
given (such as pressing
the play key or
a
fader
trigger pulse. lf auto
pause
is off
then
the player will ignore track boundaries and play
over
them.
Setting
Auto pause on will update the current stop cue
to the start of the
next
track.
lf a stop cue is defined at the end or within
the
same
track in which the start
cue
has been defined the auto pause mode will
be set
automatically.
lf
the end cue is not within the stafi track, then auto pause is turned off but
as
soon
as
the end cue
is
reached, the auto pause
is
turned on again.
(for
future
use
only)
The RT/ET
key [13] toggles the type of time display shown in
the
minutes and
seconds fields. The current display mode is either remaining
time
to
end
cue or
elapsed time.
Elapsed time ALWAYS refers
to the track time, not the elapsed
time from the
start
cue. When
a
track boundary
is
crossed the elapsed time will start
from
zero.
ln
the
remaining
time mode, the display will show the
remaining
time to the
end
cue if one was defined, or the remaining time
to the
end
of
the
track if no
end cue
was defined.
