Installation
Disconnect the supply voltage!
4.1 Installation of the Presence Detector
The Presence Detector is clipped onto the FM Insert chosen. The FM Insert chosen is
installed in a standard flush-mounted box in accordance with DIN 49073, Part 1, or in the
Busch-Jaeger surface-mounted housing, Art. No. 6885.
CAUTION
For the setting phase (walking test, setting the potentiometers), the enclosed adaptor
should be used, before the Presence Detector is "finally" clipped onto the FM Insert.
Without fail, follow the installation instructions with regard to heating-up, safety
clearances, line routing, etc., in the relevant operating instructions.
4.2 Installation Site
When choosing the installation site, the following factors are to be taken into consideration:
- Mounting height
- Distance to controlling light source
- Objects such as movable partitions, tall flowers, etc.
