8. Problems and Solutions
= blinking slowly = blinking fast
• Acknowledge alarm by pressing 'Alarm' button
• Check if batteries are properly connected
• Replace old or worn out batteries
• Press the alarm button again
--> Control unit will continue to function without batteries
--> If batteries are not functioning no alarms will be displayed during a power outage
• Check if power is being supplied to the room / circuit connected to pumpstation
• Check fuse / ground fault indicator / residual current device
• Check power supply cable for damage / malfunction
• Check micro-fuse in control unit (only replace with fuse with same specifications)
• Cause: TF1, TF2, MSS
Remedial actions:
--> Check motor protection switch(s)
Temperature error 1a/2a:
--> Lower windings temperature switch has activated
--> Motor will cool by itself but Alarm button must be pressed to acknowledge error
Temperature error 1b/2b:
--> Check pumps
• Max pump starts exceeded: one of the pump has started more than 20 times in 3 minutes
--> Check float switches
--> Check non-return flap
• Max run time exceeded: pump has run longer than 240 minutes without stopping
--> Check float switches
--> Check non-return flap
